News from the Nurse
For Parents of Kindergarten Students: Remember to make an appointment for your child to see the dentist. California law (Education Code Section 49452.8) states your child must have a dental check-up by May 31st of his/her first year in public school. A check-up within 12 months of starting school is also acceptable. Follow the links to the waiver/assessment.
For Parents of 6th Grade Students: Please bring in your child's proof having the Tdap vaccination. My personal goal is too have all of our Sierra View students 100% ready for 7th grade by June 12. Let's do this!
Please visit Shots for School for more information regarding this requirement.
Help Our School Earn Money!
All you have to do is turn in box tops, which can be found in a variety of products, that each and every one of us use for our households. These products can vary anywhere from baby items like Huggies diapers to waste items like Hefty waste bags. Many boxed foods and paper products also have box top coupons on them and when turned in can earn our school 10 cents each.
Please turn your box tops in to your child's teacher any time throughout the year. For further information you can check out the following website:
Please also save and send in Labels for Education.
